Equine-Assisted Therapy
A different way of listening to yourself
Equine-assisted therapy invites you into a slower, more embodied way of healing. Rather than relying on words alone, this work happens in relationship with horses, whose sensitivity and presence naturally bring awareness to what is happening beneath the surface.
Horses respond honestly to nervous system states, emotional cues, and patterns of connection. They do not analyze or judge. They notice. That makes them powerful partners in therapeutic work focused on trust, regulation, and authentic connection.
No riding is involved. Sessions take place on the ground, through guided interaction, observation, and reflection.
Who this work can support
- Feel disconnected from your body or emotions despite years of insight
- Struggle with trust, boundaries, or relationship patterns
- Carry trauma, grief, medical experiences, or chronic stress in your body
- Find traditional talk therapy limiting or exhausting
- Want a gentler, experiential way to explore what you are holding

How equine-assisted sessions work
The work is not about controlling the horse or doing something “right.” It is about noticing patterns.
You may begin to see how you approach closeness, how you respond to uncertainty, where you tense or withdraw, and what helps you feel more grounded. These moments become starting points for reflection, nervous system regulation, and integration.
I am present throughout the session, helping translate what emerges into insight you can carry back into your daily life.
